Ordering Information

Orders are processed in the order they are received. Although the web page is updated daily, it is possible that the desired item may no longer be in stock. Please leave us contact infotmation with your order so that we can contact you for instructions if this occurs. If the item you wish to purchase is not available, we will notify you using the contact information provided, and refund your payment in full.

Items paid for via credit card or completed Paypal payment will be shipped immediately and marked as sold on the web site. Items paid for by check or E-check will be marked 'On Hold,' and will be shipped and marked 'Sold' as soon as payment clears.

Items may be ordered on line, via Email, phone, or US Postal Mail. If ordering via Email or US Postal Mail, please do not send money until we have contacted you to confirm that your item is in stock and on hold for you.

We accept the following payment methods: Cashier's Check, Money Order, Personal Check, Credit Card (through PayPal or phone orders only).

Please do not send credit card numbers via Email.

If the item is not ordered on-line, we will send an order confirmation Email (or contact you by phone) to confirm that the item is available, and give you the invoice total. The item will remain on hold for 10 days from the time we contact you, or until we receive payment from you, whichever comes first. If payment has not been received within 10 days, the item will be placed back into stock. If payment is received after 10 days and the item is still available, it will be shipped when payment arrives. If we receive payment after 10 days and the item is instead on hold for another individual, we will attempt to contact you so that you may select a different item from our stock or have your payment returned. If the item has already been sold, or we are unable to contact you, your payment will be promptly returned to the address you provided.

Shipping

Unless otherwise requested, all items will be shipped US Priority Mail, and a $2.00 US handling fee is added to all shipments. Fire Gems™ is not responsible for shipments lost or damaged in the mails. Items will be shipped immediately on receipt of payment.

Payment

Paypal now allows non-Paypal customers to make payments using Paypal. Our online ordering system uses Paypal to process payments. If not ordering online, after you receive your Order Confirmation, make cashier's check or money order payable to Fire Gems.

Texas residents please be aware that your purchase price will include sales tax of 7.5%.

Alternatively, for faster turnaround, payment can be made with a credit card via PayPal. If not ordering through our online ordering system, please do not make PayPal payments before receiving your confirmation Email.

Discount pricing is available for vendors with proof of tax ID.

Warranty/Replacement Policy:

Often, what appears to be a crack is actually a ripple in one of the glass layers. This is normal when ripple glass is used in the design of the piece. We make every effort to ensure that our pieces will not crack under normal wear, but rarely a piece will crack. A break that is all small, sharp chunks and edges is most often caused by the piece having been dropped, Unfortunately, we cannot replace pieces that have been dropped.

A single, straight-line fissure in the piece, the entire thickness of a glass layer, is a stress fracture. Stress fractures are most often caused by incompatibility between the different glasses used in the piece, or by a problem during the annealing process.

Should you have a piece made by us that exhibits a stress fracture, please contact us for return shipping information, and ship the piece back to us. When we receive the cracked piece and verify the type of crack, we will notify you. At your option, we will either refund the original purchase price or credit that amount toward the purchase of another piece from our stock. While we cannot pay return postage for the cracked piece, if you opt to use the credited amount to purchase a replacement piece from our stock, we will waive the costs of shipping the replacement piece back to you.

Any warranty on pieces from the Artistic Treasures section of our website is between the Artist and purchaser. Fire Gems™ does not explicitly warranty anything from this section unless it is made by us.
